Our mystery shopping program plays an important role in ensuring that our in-park venues and sales partners are functioning as they should be. Although it was once a service we outsourced, we brought it in-house to better ensure the quality and consistency of the work. We have not been disappointed with the result.

We can provide your company with a full range of services including in-person, online and telephone-based shops. All of our in-market (Central Florida) and telephone-based shops are conducted by carefully trained and closely monitored professional shoppers who are adapt at meeting very specific client requirements. Non-Central Florida in-person shops are managed through a carefully selected network of providers that we continuously monitor.

Reporting

Universal Orlando can offer you a full suite of reports to meet your needs, ranging from individual shop reports delivered within hours of each shop to ranked score reports, location reports and trend reports. Our reports are very specifically customized to the needs of each of our clients to ensure that they get the maximum return for their investment:

  • Client specific scoring systems: Some store behaviors are more important than others. For example, whether or not the associate points out one product feature may not be nearly as important as whether or not they greeted the customer within a certain period of time. Our system allows each element within the shop to be individually weighted, so that each area of review can be given a score which ultimately leads to an overall score for the shop. The result is a program that makes it very easy to compare one shop to another on a variety of different criteria. The scoring system is completely customized to match your needs, and very complex rules are possible that combine multiple attributes.
  • Different scoring for different types of shops: Our system allows you to have multiple scoring systems by category. For example, you may want to score that gas stations that offer groceries differently from your stations that only offer gas. Our program makes it easy to allow for these types of differences while still allowing them to be compared on factors which are comparable.
  • Easy to read reports: Our reports are specifically designed so that end-users can easily understand them. Each section of the report includes a narrative section and a breakdown of the rating the store received in each area.
  • Comparisons to other stores embedded within each report: We include ranking and comparison information in each individual shop report so that you can tell in an instant how this venue compares to similar venues. Comparison information is provided both on an overall basis and by section (see sample report for specific details).
  • Multiple report versions for different audiences: We know how useful it is to share the mystery shopping reports directly with the client. But we also know that there is certain information - such as information about competitors or about other stores - that you may not want to include in the report that you send out to the stores. Which is why we offer both "internal" and "external" reports. We can also produce additional custom reports on as required.
